Vintage Punch and Judy Show Hand Puppet Policeman

Description

Dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, this Punch and Judy policeman puppet has a hand carved wooden head and a cloth body that appears to be a replacement.  The head retains its original hand painted surface with some surface wear and paint loss on the edges.  His body shows only a little wear and some soiling.  His head measures about 3 3/8 in. tall by 2 in. in diameter and is in good condition with the above mentioned wear, but no cracks or losses.
